Stage – Sochi Winter Olympic Games 2014

The stage for Sochi Winter Olympics Ceremonies is one of the largest indoor stages ever built covering the entire stadium surface and rounding up at around 120 000 square feet.

Knowing that the frame built and the final assembly of the stage would have to take place in a very short period of time as well as in a very constraining environment, we took great care of keeping the structure as simple as possible. Each piece of that structural system had to be built and made ready for assembly in our shop in Laval meaning that the floor panels, beams and columns dimensions were ruled by the shipping container size.
